Elsewhere, Canada thrashed nine-man Qatar 6-0 behind a Jonathan David hat-trick to move top of Group B, while Switzerland scored four late goals to beat Bosnia 4-1.

South Africa and Czech Republic drew 1-1 in a tense Group A clash.
