Small-scale food traders exempt from LPG enforcement until October

Small-scale food and beverage traders will be exempt from enforcement action over the use of subsidised LPG cylinders at their business premises until October, said Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali.
Speaking at a post-Cabinet press conference on Thursday (June 5), Armizan said the exemption follows Cabinet approval to amend the Control of Supplies Regulations (Amendment) 2021—originally introduced by the previous government—based on recommendations from his ministry.
