Fugitive policeman, Sirul Azhar Umar, who was convicted for the grisly murder of Mongolian translator, Altantuya Shaaribu, has lost a bid for asylum in Australia, where he has been held since 2015, raising the prospect he could be deported. Sirul and his accomplice, Azilah Hadri were serving as members of Datuk Seri Najib Razak's personal security detail at the time of the murder in 2006, but the question of who ordered the killing has never been answered.
