Members of the media were surprised when the senior police officer who was charged with the murder of a 17-year-old student on Monday (Dec 18) entered the Ipoh Magistrate Court from another route that bypassed the crowd of waiting journalists and camera crew.

Having waited for hours for the opportunity to capture some footage, many members of the press were left disappointed that the accused,

Deputy Supt Mohd Nazri Abdul Razak had given them the slip as policemen guided him via an alternative route.
