Selangor cops incinerate over 37 tonnes of seized drugs worth RM1.7bil

Selangor police have destroyed 37.3 tonnes of drugs worth RM1.71bil, involving 6,526 investigation papers linked to cases recorded from 2009 to 2025.

Bukit Aman Narcotics Crime Investigation Department (NCID) director Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said the disposal was part of efforts to ensure all drug case exhibits are destroyed in accordance with established procedures.
