Search for man who fell into monsoon drain after crash

A man has gone missing and feared drowned after he crashed his motorcycle at Jalan Ipoh-Kuala Kangsar and fell into a monsoon drain before being swept away by raging waters.

Perak Fire and Rescue Department director Azmi Osman said a search and rescue operation for Ahmad Amin Ismail, 58, was mounted shortly after the 7.39pm incident on Thursday (Jan 14).
