When asked to comment on Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad as Pakatan Harapan’s choice for prime minister, former MIC president S. Samy Vellu declined to elaborate much except to call Dr Mahathir “a good man and good leader” and said he would usually support the sitting prime minister.

Samy Vellu said that after attending the Thaipusam celebrations in Batu Caves on Wednesday.
