Saifuddin: AI key to modernising public service delivery

Home Ministry agencies have been urged to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) to boost productivity, efficiency, and public service delivery, said Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.
Speaking at the ministry’s monthly assembly on Thursday (March 5), he said the ministry has already taken initial steps over the past two years through the “AI for KDN, KDN for AI” initiative.
Saifuddin also called for enhanced AI training for officers, including courses at local universities, to fully harness the technology’s potential for faster work, higher productivity, and better public service.
