Safe Sport Code now in effect to protect sports community rights, welfare

The rights and welfare of Malaysian athletes and sports community are expected to be more protected following the introduction of the Safe Sport Code by the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) on Wednesday (March 15).

Its Minister Hannah Yeoh said the code is a guideline for a safe sports environment that emphasises the roles and responsibilities of all parties in dealing with any form of harassment and abuse.
