Sabahans want quality of life, not Gardenia bread - Deputy Speaker

"What the people want is quality of life, not Gardenia bread," Sabah State Assembly Deputy Speaker Datuk Al Hambra Tun Juhar said on Tuesday (Dec 16) as he reminded all assemblymen to fulfil the people's mandate with responsibility and integrity.

He said the mandate received in the last election was not merely a symbol of public support, but a clear demand for every elected representative to work diligently to improve the standard of living of communities in their respective constituencies.
