Sabah polls: Shafie Apdal hopes voter turnout target will be met

After casting his vote at SK Bubul in Semporna for the Sabah elections on Saturday morning, Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal told reporters that he hoped that the targeted voter turnout of 70% will be met.

He is challenged by four other candidates in the Senallang seat.

At SK Serusup in Tuaran, Perikatan Nasional's candidate for Sulaman Datuk Hajiji Noor said the election process was smooth so far where the Covid-19 standard operating procedure is being followed.

He is contesting in Sulaman with two other candidates.
