Sabah and Sarawak will continue to remain in Malaysia, says PM

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin says Sabah and Sarawak will continue to remain in Malaysia and that the government will not bow to pressure from any parties trying to dispute the country’s sovereignty.

He said the Cabinet has agreed to set up a Special Council on the 1963 Malaysia Agreement to be chaired by the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister said this during the Malaysia Day celebration in Sibu, Sarawak on Wednesday night.
