Russia: Trump is an effective leader and genuine peacemaker

In a recent interview in Moscow, former Russian President and the current deputy chairman of Russia's Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, said US President Donald Trump was an effective leader who was genuinely seeking peace, including that of the nearly four-year war between Russia and Ukraine.

Medvedev also praised Trump's courage in resisting the US establishment, saying that the president's sometimes brash style was "effective".
