Rural and Regional Development Ministry mulls reviewing salary scheme for IPMa educators, says Zahid

The Rural and Regional Development Ministry is considering reviewing the salary scheme for educators at the MARA Institute of Education (IPMa), said Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

Ahmad Zahid, who is also Rural and Regional Development Minister, said in his speech at the 2023 MARA Educator Awards Day on Tuesday (July 18) that although their current salary scheme was similar to that of the Education Ministry, there were some loopholes that caused certain groups to be marginalised.
