RM50 airfare discount for peninsula–East Malaysia flights from May 15-June 14, says Loke

Malaysians travelling between Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia will receive a RM50 flight discount during the Gawai and Kaamatan festive period from May 15 to June 14, says Transport Minister Anthony Loke.

The rebate, expected to benefit 100,000 यात्रellers, is offered by Malaysia Airlines, AirAsia and Batik Air, with a RM5 million allocation from the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM).

Loke said the initiative aims to ease travel costs amid disruptions caused by recent international flight cancellations linked to geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
