RM12bil of wood products exported in first half of 2021, says Commodities Minister

Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister Datuk Zuraida Kamaruddin said wood sector exports have increased by 20.7% in the first six months of this year compared to the same period last year.

The five main wood products that are exported include furniture (RM5.54bil), plywood (RM1.54bil), sawn timber (RM1.16bil), wood fiber (RM350mil), and wood moldings (RM520mil).
