RM100mil human trafficking, forgery gang busted in Kuala Lumpur

A human trafficking and document forgery syndicate believed to have raked in at least RM100mil over more than seven years has been crippled following major Immigration Department raids under Ops Serkap in Kuala Lumpur.

Immigration director-general Datuk Zakaria Shaaban said the operation, conducted on April 13 and 14 after six months of intelligence gathering, successfully dismantled the long-running criminal network.
