RM100 book vouchers for students to continue, says Anwar

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced that the RM100 Buku Madani vouchers for secondary school and university students nationwide will continue, despite fiscal constraints.

Speaking during the launch of the Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair on Friday (May 29), Anwar stressed the importance of cultivating a reading culture, warning that excessive reliance on short-form social media content was eroding interest in reading and meaningful knowledge.
