‘Religious influencer’ pleads not guilty to CBT charges amounting to over RM13.8mil

A 40-year-old "religious influencer" and preacher, Abdullah Abdol Razak, claimed trial at the Seremban Sessions Court on Wednesday (Aug 26) to 34 criminal breach of trust charges involving over RM13.8 million belonging to an NGO, plus 17 money laundering charges worth RM1.55 million.
He was chairman of Pertubuhan Rezeki Infaq Malaysia when the alleged offences occurred.
The NGO's secretary, Noor Sahira Abdullah, was separately charged with abetting him.
