Rebut Al Jazeera over report on migrants instead, Dr Mahathir tells Putrajaya

The government should not penalise Al Jazeera for reporting on the alleged mistreatment of undocumented migrants in Malaysia, said former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

Dr Mahathir, who is also the Langkawi MP, said that in Dewan Rakyat on Tuesday, adding that the government should instead provide a proper explanation on its treatment towards undocumented immigrants in the country.
