RCI on Bank Negara's forex losses begins

The Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) into foreign exchange losses of billions of ringgit in the 1980s and 1990s officially began on Tuesday. Lawyer R. Sivarasa appeared for then finance minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim while Mohamed Haniff Khatri Abdulla held a watching brief for then prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
