At the appointment ceremony for both the Gig Workers Tribunal and Gig Workers Consultative Council on Friday (April 3), Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri R. Ramanan refuted claims by the Malaysian Trades Union Congress (MTUC) that no engagement sessions were held before the enforcement of the Gig Workers Act 2025.
