Ramanan: Insurance scheme for Malaysians commuting for work to Singapore to be ready in Q2 this year

Skim Pengembara, the proposed insurance scheme for Malaysians commuting daily to Singapore for work, is expected to be ready by the second quarter of this year, says Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri R. Ramanan.

Speaking at a Human Resources Ministry Buka Puasa event on Wednesday (March 11), Ramanan said he plans to present the scheme — also called the Traveller Scheme — at a future Cabinet meeting for approval.
