Rais Yatim sworn in as Dewan Negara president

Veteran politician Tan Sri Dr Rais Yatim was elected the new president of the Dewan Negara, the Upper House of Parliament on Wednesday (Sept 2).

He replaces Tan Sri S. A. Vigneswaran whose term of office ended on June 22.
