PTPTN targets RM1.5 billion in SSPN 2020 deposits

National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) is confident of gaining 400,000 new National Education Savings Scheme (SSPN) account holders and RM1.5 billion in deposits this year, despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and economy.

Speaking to the press after launching the ‘Cabutan WOW! SSPN-i Plus 2020’ on Tuesday (July 14), its chairman Wan Saiful Wan Jan said this was based on PTPTN accumulating RM1.3 billion in deposits last year and RM184.02 million from January to May this year.
