PSM claims 50,000 hospital cleaners exploited by fixed-term contract

Parti Sosialis Malaysia (PSM) revealed that around 50,000 government hospital and clinic cleaners nationwide are denied their rights as employees after companies sub-contracted to other firms to provide hospital support services. The firms only offer contracts up to six months, a year or two years instead of permanent jobs.
