Proposal to amend Accountants Act 1967 is still being studied, says Ahmad Maslan

The proposal to amend the Accountants Act 1967 which aims to improve the regulation of the accounting profession in Malaysia is still at the study stage and there is no policy decision yet, the Dewan Rakyat was told on Tuesday (Oct 17).

Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan said the government is currently examining the proposed legislative amendments.
