Probe into alleged mistreatment of hospital union activists ongoing

An investigation into the alleged mistreatment of five activists from the National Union of Workers in Hospital Support and Allied Services by the police is ongoing, says Perak police chief Comm Datuk Razarudin Husain.  

It was reported that five activists from the union were arrested for gathering near the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital in Ipoh on June 2.

Following that, they lodged police reports alleging wrongful detention for defying the conditional movement control order (MCO) and misuse of power by the police.
