Power demand increases 1.4% but remains stable, says Akmal

Malaysia’s electricity demand rose slightly by 1.4% last week to 20,097MW, indicating stable consumption despite unpredictable weather conditions.

Economy Minister Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir said the increase shows national power usage remains under control amid changing weather patterns.
