Poster claiming govt agreed monthly epf withdrawal is fake, says Fahmi

The Communications and Digital Ministry has refuted a social media rumour claiming that the government had agreed to limit withdrawals on a monthly basis for contributors to the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) who have reached the age of 55.

Minister of Communications and Digital, Fahmi Fadzil said he had verified the information with EPF chief executive officer Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah and asked the EPF to provide a full explanation.
