Cristiano Ronaldo became the first player to score in six World Cup tournaments with two goals in Portugal's 5-0 win over Uzbekistan in Houston on Tuesday (June 23).

At a post-match press conference, Ronaldo brushed aside a week of heavy criticism, insisting his focus remains on improving and helping the team progress at the World Cup.

He stressed his belief in hard work and consistency, saying he remains focused on his role within the team rather than outside noise.
