PM: We want to prove to the people this is a functional government

In an interview with RTM and Astro Awani which was broadcast on Saturday night, Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said the people are not interested in dwelling on politics at the moment but more concerned about how the Perikatan Nasional government address the Covid-19 pandemic in the country.

He said he had stressed that from the beginning of the setting up of the government, he wanted to have a functional government. He added that the government is proving this during the pandemic.
