PM: No plans to cut pension of former ministers

After chairing a Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim told reporters that there were no plans to cut the pension of former Cabinet members. He said such a suggestion requires amendments to the Federal Constitution.

He also said Bank Negara Malaysia has the authority in making decisions such as the overnight policy rate (OPR).
