PM launches initiatives to promote women, youth, talent development in sports

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob launched the Women in Sports Action Plan with an allocation of RM10mil to empower women's participation in sports.

He said the Women in Sports Action Plan is expected to increase the overall involvement of women in sports activities, leadership in sports bodies and participation in coaching and as sports officers.

The Prime Minister said this during the launch of the National Sports Day 2021 on Saturday (Oct 9).
