PM: Don’t worry, there is enough food for everyone

Amid the excessive purchasing at supermarkets over the Covid-19 pandemic, Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin reassured Malaysians that there is sufficient supply of food for everything and urged everyone to be calm.

Speaking to reporters after an Economic Action Council (EAC) meeting Monday (March 16), he added that the Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry (KPDNKK) has been instructed to ensure that the supply of essential food items is available.
