PM: Distribution of copies of Al-Quran important to enhance understanding of Islam

Speaking at the One Million Al-Quran Waqf Solidarity programme in Putrajaya on Friday, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the effort to print and distribute copies of the Al-Quran currently undertaken by Malaysia is an important initiative to enhance the understanding of Islam and to take the ummah and the country to greater heights.
