PM clarifies he’s not VVIP who met Azilah

Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad clarified on Wednesday that he had never met former police commando Azilah Hadri since the latter’s imprisonment for the murder of Mongolian translator Altantuya Shaariibuu.

Former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s legal team told reporters on Tuesday that a VVIP had met Azilah outside Kajang Prison in Feb 2019.
