PM: Celebrate Christmas moderately in compliance with new normal

Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said there would be various restrictions during this year’s Christmas celebration for house-to-house visits by family members and friends.

“My advice is, for the common good, celebrate this year’s Christmas moderately by complying with the standard operating procedures set such as taking body temperature and ensuring physical distancing without handshakes.

“Suffice to bend the head slightly and place your hand on the chest as a mark of respect,” he said in his Christmas message on Thursday.
