Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced in his National Day 2026 address on Sunday (Aug 30) that the government has agreed to raise the e-Invoice exemption threshold from RM1mil to RM3mil, easing the compliance burden on businesses, particularly SMEs, as they adapt to digitalisation.
