Nurul Izzah Anwar has broken her silence over criticism of her decision to step down as PKR deputy president, saying she cannot please everyone and can only remain true to herself.

Amidst criticism over her decision to step down, Nurul Izzah said at the launch of the PKR Youth and Women congress on Friday (Aug 14) that she had chosen to continue her struggle through civil society rather than directly through the party.
