Peace effort in Mindanao has to succeed, says PM

Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr held a bilateral meeting at Malacanang Palace in Manila on Wednesday.

After the meeting, Anwar told reporters that efforts to attain peace in Mindanao, southern Philippines, have to succeed because their failure could affect not only the Philippines and Malaysia but also the whole region.
