Pakatan leaders want cops to conduct independent inquiry into temple attack

Several Pakatan Harapan leaders, led by Minister in the Prime Minister's Department P. Waytha Moorthy, want the police to conduct a full and independent inquiry into the violent clashes that broke out at the Sri Maha Mariamman temple in Seafield early Monday. The group also urged the IGP to issue a corrective statement over the Subang Jaya Police Department’s initial report over the incident, saying it was "false and irresponsible, and created much tension in the Indian community.”
