PAC to call up Treasury sec-gen, customs DG over uCustoms project

The Public Accounts Committee on Thursday said it would call up both the Treasury secretary-general and Customs director-general next month over the incomplete uCustoms system project.

The Auditor-General’s Report 2019 Series 2 tabled in the Dewan Rakyat recently revealed that the uCustoms system which will replace the Customs Information System failed to be completed within 86 months after being given five extensions of time.
