Over half a million public flats in M'sia in deplorable condition, says Housing Ministry

More than half a million public flats in the country are in a deplorable state, says Datuk Seri Reezal Merican Naina Merican.

The Housing and Local Government Minister said this in the Dewan Rakyat on Tuesday (March 22) in reply to a question from Datuk Seri Salim Shariff (BN-Jempol), and to an earlier question by Wong Hon Wai (PH-Bukit Bendera), Reezal said the ministry is looking at how to draft a specific law to manage urban renewal development in cities.
