Over 90,000 illegals detained last year, says Immigration Dept

A total of 92,360 undocumented migrants were arrested for committing various offences under the Immigration Act throughout 2025, says the Immigration Department.

Deputy director-general (Operations) Datuk Lokman Effendi Ramli said the department carried out 13,910 operations nationwide during the year and inspected 239,326 individuals.
