Over 188,000 housewives contribute to Socso’s scheme

A total of 188,102 housewives nationwide have contributed to the Social Security Organisation’s (Socso) Housewives’ Social Security Scheme (SKSSR) as of Sept 24.

Deputy Minister of Human Resources Mustapha Sakmud said since SKSSR was introduced in December 2022, a total of 476 cases had been processed by Socso involving domestic problems, disability, and death with a total benefit payment of RM621,953.
