Outgoing IGP Razarudin proposes dedicated police ministry

Outgoing Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain has proposed that the Royal Malaysia Police are placed under a dedicated ministry, saying that its size and significance are on par with key sectors such as defence, health and education.

Razarudin said a formal proposal had been submitted to the Prime Minister and the Home Minister for consideration.
