Outgoing FT Minister Zaliha cites progress on key issues

Federal Territories Minister Datuk Seri Dr Zaliha Mustafa said several long-standing issues in the Federal Territories have been progressively addressed during her two-year tenure.

Among the key issues tackled were the dismantling of entrenched bazaar cartels and efforts to eradicate hardcore poverty.

In a statement, Dr Zaliha said firm measures had been taken to dismantle bazaar cartels that had for years pressured small traders and micro-entrepreneurs.
