Ops Benteng has helped to prevent a larger Covid-19 outbreak from occurring within the community in Lahad Datu, Sabah, says Armed Forces chief Jen Tan Sri Affendi Buang.

The Benteng LD (Lahad Datu) cluster was first detected on Sept 1 after two undocumented migrants from the Philippines were caught by the authorities under the “Ops Benteng”.
