Ong: ELV policy must be thought about very carefully

Deputy International Trade and Industry Minister Dr Ong Kian Ming said the End of Life Vehicle policy has to be studied very carefully as it would affect many people in different industries.

He said this in response to Transport Minister Anthony Loke’s statement that the government has no plans to reintroduce a policy to eliminate old vehicles from the road.
